There were licensing entanglements with the National Weather Service.

It was because of the weather service but not for the reasons you would think. It turns out after appointing an independant inquiry into the matter by Kenneth Starr (a true Dark Starr)that it turned out that Wind and Rain were never friends, they don't really even like each other, they just work together 'cause they have to.

Sad really. Now, Rocks and Grass - that's another story.

I've heard that the return of Mickey was the end of WRS- the two drummer setup just wasn't nimble enough for that tune.
